Frozen Roku Stick

Stick will not shut off. My TV usb port has power even though the TV is off. The Roku stick is on always but when I try to access it the next time it will not work and I have to unplug the power to the Stick and wait for the restarting period. This is not fun since the TV is suspended 7 feet off the ground on a wall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Initially, I didn't enjoy using this device but I have since learned that newer sets operate much better. I am not sure if it is due to the HDMI port or the underlying technology. I have a dual band router and even at 2.4GHz it performed much better on a newer set. I did also prioritize the stick on my network and it runs very well.

Love the roku. There are a ton of channels, which I find a benefit, but also a hindrance if I don't have something in mind to watch. I'd rather have roku than paying Comcast for repeat channels! I suggest an internet channel to surf the web and watch websites that don't have a channel.

The streaming stick is the easiest and best performing Roku device yet. I bought my fist one in 2005 and have moved up in generations because my kids have seen me use it and appropriated them for their dorm rooms.
