Poor internet connection capability

I purchased this about a couple of months ago, to use it mostly with Netflix. So far, I could not complete the watching of a movie.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I Love My Roku

I have been enjoying all of the TV shows that I didn't get after I cancelled cable. This is a wonderful tool, easy to use and inexpensive.

It's a little finicky. Sometimes I select it, and it comes right on. Other times, I have to switch ports for it to work. Right now it'snot happy, and I don't know why; might need to be restarted (?) because of a recent power outage. It's a good idea, but it's too high maintenance for me. If it weren't past the return time, I would take it back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this about a month ago with the purpose of streaming Netflix to our bedroom TV so we could cancel cable. I'm very happy we did. We can access Netflix, Youtube, HuluPlus, and many other channels. Roku also offers free channels, and we've found some good ones. The instructions were very easy to follow when installing and using, and the remote is simple to learn and works well. I really like this product.

I brought this about 2 months ago, after being unsatisfied and over charged for cable. I'm not a real technical person, but installation , startup of this product is simple! I love the selections and the shows for children, also the music videos ! What most music channels don't even play vids,I love Vevo ! What you pay for the Roku is a fraction of monthly cable bill, but remember you do need internet. Great product! I recommend this always to people.
