I have owned the streaming stick for several months and do enjoy it. However, I find it works well sometimes but seems to freeze or buffer too much at others; not very consistent. Hopefully, it just has a few bugs that will be worked out as "new editions" become available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We decided to cut the cord to expensive satellite TV because the prices are insane for the channels you can actually watch. We are so glad we did. First we bought a Roku 3 for the bedroom. We were able to watch so much we decided to get the streaming stck for our Internet ready TV. If you are thinking about buying an Internet TV, don't! All you really need is the Roku. It does even more. This is a great way to watch TV. There are so many channels that you have access to. You can't go wrong. I even watch daily news. There are channels for all genres and age groups.

Not what I expected

I thought I could view video from my IPad on my TV you can and can't. If you have a video recorded on your IPad, yes, but I wanted to re-broadcast live streaming video from a golf tournament that had special feature coverage. The other issue is most of the movies available are through some variation of a pay service. No real advantage over my cable package, except pay as you go.

Good-bye satellite bills!

I bought my Roku streaming stick in order to get Glenn Beck's Blaze TV programming and was amazed at how much more it provided! Satellite bills kept creeping higher and higher, but I can ditch the dish and still get most of the programming I really watch.

I have very high speed internet connection but the streaming stick is very slow response. It takes forever to turn on and even longer to load content

Bought this a few months back hidden behinde my tv the only thing is the picture quailth seems a lil low but its still a great picture on the tv and i love it

I own two Roku players for my two different TV's and find them to be great gadgets for bringing content that I have not seen and makes my HBO GO subscription easy to take advantage of viewing when I want to.
