Owned for a few months now, works 3/4 of the time. Not sure what the problem is but nothing seems to help it work right. The remote is simple and easy for kids to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like Roku products in general and the stick works just a fine as the boxes, I purchased the stick thinking all you have to do is insert it in the HDMI portal and you're done, to my surprise you also need to plug the stick into an outlet which makes it harder since the stick is now further away from the outlet. I really don't see the benefit of having the sick vs the regular box except now I need an extention cord to make sure it's alaways plugged in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am happy that I bought the Streaming Stick; however, there should be more user friendly apps, such as a wider facebook, or pintrest etc..

Still needs work

Gets really hot and freezes up every couple of hours. Forcing you to unplug and wait for it to reboot. Advertisement make it appear like its cordless however its not. Yet another item to plug in. Not enough room on the back of tv to use this either it has to stick out straight or it gets bent. Still needs a lot of work.

I realized with my Uverse TV I was only watching 4-5 shows and spending way too much money. I went out to find what other options I have and found Roku. I love it. I can get all the shows I watch through it and only pay a fraction of what I was.
