Good choice for streaming content

This is my second Roku. My only complaint is the HDMI connection which seems to be very tight so that the stick almost has to be forced into the receptacle. Streaming is occasionally problematic and I'm not sure where the disruptions happen. The Netflix app has to be reinstalled from time to time. Otherwise, a neat product that does what I want it to.

Needs Antenna - Overall Good Device

NEEDS antenna. Insufficient Wifi. Other devices (even 5 year old Roku 2) connect great in same location. It's not slow when it has a good connection. We multiplayer game from same location with older tech. (Wireless G), so we know the Stick is the weak link. Also, I really miss the *View More Like This feature from older Roku. Screen Mirroring (Beta) currently only works on certain devices, and even then only briefly if casting video. Dedicated Rdio button does nothing, as the station no longer exists. A few 3rd party media players would also be nice. All that being said, it's still a good device for the money. All your favorite streaming stations in the palm of your hand for less than a 1 month cable bill. If your TV is 2 rooms away or your Wifi signal is even slightly weak, get a Roku 2 or greater. PLEASE add a flip up antenna on the the next Roku Stick.

My husband bought this for Christmas. I wanted Disney Jr for grandchildren to watch. I have received many different codes and had the remote quit. Going online is not easy as TV is in a different room. Not for someone with little IT experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use it on my kitchen TV where I spend my mornings. It has worked perfectly since day 1 and I am really enjoying it.

My son bought us the Roku as a Christmas gift. The first one was defective, but now that I have its replacement I am delighted! We are not very tech savvy, but this is easy even for us!
