Where was ROKU when I bought a not so smart blu-ra

Much to my surprise my new wi-fi connected blu-ray player gave me only a few streaming video choices. Roku's channel choices are beyond belief. A big plus is that I can take the Roku stick with me when I go to our vacation house

Ease of installation.

I bought the stick because I have been using the ROKU 2 on my main television. It works really well if you hook up the power cable instead of using the USB on the television that will power up when you turn on the television. Had to be patient when i used the USB and give the stick about five minutes of power up time to avoid errors. Works real well in both modes.

My major complaint with using this device for Netflix is the inability to prevent it from shrinking the credits at the end of a movie into a little box so that it can recommend other films. Roku 1 does not do this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Roku Streaming Stick is the ideal "tool" for appointment TV watching. Hundreds of channels to select from...ESPN, SEC Network, Showtime Go, Pandora, Netflix, Hulu, CBS, Amazon, WE and on and on. Installation was quick and easy.

Now sometimes it does freeze up on YouTube and you have to exit and go back in order to search. Other than that it is a great product would highly recommend anyone to buy this.

We bought the streaming stick and also have a roku 2. Love the ability to watch a variety of programs. Something out there for the whole family to watch. It's super easy to install.
