A Mixed Stick

The first problem was that the stick could fit into the hdmi slot - the stick was physically too big for the space. So we had to purchase an adapter. Next, we had to upgrade our cable modem - it was time for that! Then things worked pretty well - but there are points where the stick hangs up and you have to reboot to get anywhere. Just this afternoon, watching a program from Comedy Central - first the video disappeared into green digital noise and then everything stopped. And stayed stopped for over an hour (I let it go just to see how long it took). I unplugged and plugged back in and things were fine.
This happens at least once a week.
The programming is a little stale. The options are for many weird and sometimes wonderful channels.

I purchased 2 Streaming Sticks months ago. They work just as advertised. I especially like the fact that I can plug the stick into my entertainment center and power it off the USB port on the entertainment center. Once turned on it takes a minute or two boot up, works very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased the basic roku device a few years back and my family and I liked it so well that it kept disappearing into random rooms (by magic I guess). I was happy to see the streaming stick come onto the market and bought one. I love the invisibility aspect, but get frustrated by slower loading and constantly having to mess with unplugging the stick from the wall or resetting back to roku "home". I know I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. Love the concept...A fix in the works? I'd love to hear about it.

Lots of great option

I bought this a couple of months ago. We love it very easy to use. The only hang ups we face is the Roku logo will stay on screen for a bit and you have to wait for it to cycle before you can get to your channels and no support for the Roku Media Player.

I rechecked my Roku as a gift. It is simple to use and overall has good performance. Occasionally it will not work and I have to unplug connections and restart.
