I have several Roku's. I picked this one up as something I could keep in my backpack for trips to relatives without, and for Hotels now and again. I accept that it's not the fastest processor - no biggie. But it seems that the remote has to be pointed juuuust right, and that it a bit of a pain. It works great though. One thing on my wish list is this (and this is in no way a shortcoming)..... In hotels, you sometimes have to open a browser and go to some dumb home page to enter your room number and name, and maybe a password. With this device, I cannot see a way to do it. Maybe build in a cheeeeeep browser?
I bought the stick about three month at the suggestion of a friend. But only recently started taking advantage of it. Will be buying one to put in my camper to use when I have unrestricted wifi at campgrounds. Very easy to use once you get the hang of it, about an hour for me.
Installing was a breeze and navigation is simple. It works perfectly for me to enjoy Netflix as well as movies and other great channels. I definitely recommend it.
I bought the streaming stick about a month ago. I purchased it because I had the original (oldest) roku box I've had for years, and it couldn't stream the WWE network I recently subscribed to. I also subscribe to UFC Fight Pass, and it works well with both. I also enjoy being able to stream YouTube. The only drawback for me is that the remote has to be pretty close to the tv for it to work, farther than a normal tv remote.
I have other Roku products and when I tried this it does not work as well as the others. It does not connect easy and I had a lot of trouble setting it up.
I loved the ROKU streaming player before but I love the stick- plug in and watch. If you're going on vacay, unplug it, slip it into your suitcase and use at your pleasure!
