I'm very happy with my Roku with many free choices and lots of free sampling of pay channels. Well worth the money!

Slower to respond to commands than Roku 3

After using Roku 3 the stick is a disappointment. Please redesign the unit to load programs as fast as the Roku 3. Then you would have a great small product with direct HDMI port plug-in without usingource any HDMI cables that could possibly degrade the picture/sound.

Convenient for a small tv in confines space

This is the 4th Roku I have in my house, this was bought for my granddaughters room for her Summer visits. It is convenient to use in a small place and works great for streaming. The only complaint I have is the fact that it is slow to react when you push a button on the remote. The reaction time is extremely slow and somewhat frustrating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loved it until I started experiencing instances in which my television was caused to intermittently turn off and then on again. The streaming is continuous so when the television is on again you've missed several seconds of the movie. I try to replay the missed scenes only to have the same thing happen at precisely the same point in the video. It happened 3 times in my last viewing session. Interestingly my older Roku player has no problem when streaming the same video to the television which it is connected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the form factor but...

I have both the Roku Streaming Stick and a Roku 3, both connected wirelessly. The stick, however, takes a bit of time to wake up once the television is turned on, but I believe this because the stick is powered by the USB port directly from the television. Once it initializes, though, it works beautifully and is kept out of sight. Highly recommend this little jewel...
