Love the size. The remote has issues.

I love the the fact that the player is so small that it fits nicely behind the TV. The problem is the remote looses its connection to the player and has to be synced constantly. I have two of these streaming sticks and both have the exact same issue. If Roku can eventually work out this issue I would rate 5 stars.

I bought the Roku about a month ago and some of the picture quality is very poor and the channel options are limited.

Streaming is 99% buffer-free, and picture is always good. Sound is mostly good, but a lot of times it will cut out for a few seconds at a time. Have to back up and watch some segment again to hear all of what was said. Periodically, I have to unplug and plug back in so it will reboot.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got my Roku "stick" about a month ago and it is great!!! took about 2 mins to self install after you plug it in to the back of TV
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have had this for about 6 months. I like what Roku brings to the table theoretically. Unfortunately, it seems to not work on a daily basis. Each day I have to physically unplug the power supply to the Roku and remove the batteries from my remote in order for it to work. Very rarely will it work when I turn the on the TV for the first time of the day.
Further, my reception using Wi-Fi is bad. I thought it might be my router, but it really seems to be the Roku itself. I can watch Amazon Prime on the Roku and I get a lot of hang ups during the video and/or poor definition. I use my tablet to connect to the same Amazon Prime and I have no issues. If I hook my tablet up to the same TV, still no issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
