A little concerned!

I have had my Roku for a few weeks and I love it but I am concerned! Why? It took me almost an hour on the phone with a technician to get Netflix to reload. I watched Netflix almost daily for weeks but could not get the sign in page or screen shots to load. It was just frozen for 2 days. I unplugged, turned off and tried everything until it finally started working. I hope this is an isolated incident because I love my Roku and plan to buy another one.

I bought this with the idea to use it at our lake place ... I didn't have high expectations but ... what a surprise. Easy setup right out of the box, excellent content, ease of operation and very reliable. I am Apple TV user as well but I really like this device ... it can proudly hold its own against any other similar product. In last few months I did not have a single even the smallest issue. I highly recommend this product.

It's a great easy to use device which I can use in multiple TV's around the house, I will eventually get one for all my TV's but recommend the stick over the rest. Only complaint is the inexpensive feeling remote, and would be nice to have the OK button in the center of the arrow buttons... Other than that it's perfect.

Great selection of channels and ease of operations

This streaming stick is not the first Roku device I purchased. It's the third. The first two devices are Roku Model XD's (mounted in each bedroom). I use the stick during the day and the XD device at night. Roku offers a great selection of streaming channels (both, free and fee-based). The installation and setup is very easy. When comparing the 2 models, the ease of the Streaming Stick Remote Control takes a bit of getting used to. The location of the push-buttons are not uniform between models. I purchased my first Roku device about a year ago when I canceled my cable service that I had for over 20 years. I have been using the 2 Roku XD boxes in the bedroom. I connected the new streaming stick to my 42" HDTV in the living room and is performing great. This stick is now used daily in the living room in-conjunction with over-the-air free broadband and the internet for my TV viewing pleasure. The broadcast from the Roku Streaming Stick sounds great when coupled with a 5.1 Dolby surround sound system. The installation of the streaming stick completes my Home Theater system.

This device knew what I wanted to hear. I back tracked 30 seconds and it put on the screen, "You know nothing, Jon Snow." Just that phrase. It was awesome. Love this little Roku, absolutely love it.
