I bought this 3months ago and I already have 2 versions of Roku 1, the streaming
stick is my favorite because of the features. I cancelled my cable 8 months ago after 35 years and have no regrets.

Not bad, but REALLY slow

I had heard that the stick was slow, but I wasn't prepared for this. Amazon prime is almost too annoying to use, amazon's fault? Roku's? Dunno, but it's lousy.

Get the same only more options upon the new remote and no earphone port but how many use earphones watching tv?? My Family love it. Perfect excuse to save money and cancel Dish Network. You actually have more and cheaper options than any other around!

Great, less wires

We own both the Roku 3 and the stick. The stick is good when you can't or don't wish to have the extra wires of Roku 3. The stick, however, is slower, esp on startup.

I bought this product about 2-3 months ago. I am pleased with it except for the fact that a third if the time it doesn't work. I have to reset the whole system and reconnect the remote to the stick which is time consuming and annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
