I purchased two of these sticks for a new move into a new house and the TV's to which they are attached have only the TV's power cable hanging from them. The sticks are otherwise hidden behind the side of the TV (best place if your TV is on the wall). To see just the TV power cable hanging from the wall but having Netflix and Amazon at your fingertips feels like magic.
The speed of the device (it's slower than it should be) is the only reason to which I knock off one star. It's an excellent device but not perfect. I've owned two Roku sticks for over four months and have rarely run into a stability issue. In the perhaps 240 times I've used it, it acted up maybe 3 or 4 times at the most. It's pretty solid and reliable and I can trust it.
My only gripes with the stick which I'll admit are minor considering the cost and pros are, it's pretty slow if you want to explore it (not so much when using a service like Amazon or Netflix). Movies and TV show's are slow to start. Rewinding and forwarding lag enough to bother so I pause first for less issues (work around). The quick service shortcut buttons on the remote I wish had an OK option to switch as I've hit them by accident and doing so will immediately shutdown what you're doing and jump to that service, no questions asked - It's nice when intentional, not so nice when by accident which happens more than it should (I'm a gorilla).
I really love everything about it but the speed. It's slow and feels slower than it should be but when you're settled in watching something it won't matter. I rarely have a quality issue over Netflix or Amazon, everything plays in HD and interacting with pause is pretty quick. There's an Android app to manage multiple devices and it's a huge bonus over the included remote (but the remote is awesome too, just not as much).
I'm overall happy with it and if it was just quicker, it'd be pretty frigging amazing.

Easy to Set Up!

The Roku Streaming Stick is sleek and unobtrusive compared to my earlier model! Fits nicely on the T.V. which makes the receiver out of the way. Stylish remote with easy to see buttons....including ones to my favorite sites! Great decision to upgrade to this model!

I purchased this a couple months ago and am enjoying it very much so. However, at times, which have been increasing, am noticing that the YouTube is becoming slower in response time. That might perhaps be due to my Internet connection, and location, which if so, is no fault of you guys.
Overall, ease of use is wonderful. However, I wish that there was a button substituted for MGO and instead have YouTube as that is one of the features that I use most often.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wireless Stick

We have a Roku device for most of our TV's, most recently a "Stick." The wireless stick solved a problem we had involving too many wires, this new Roku item solves the problem but is the slowest reacting of all the models we have. Compared to the other Rokus just be patient... press a button and pause resist the urge to think that you need to push a button twice.
Additionally, (not mentioned in any support FAQ's) do not add in any connecting HDMI cables or adapters... the Stick will have interference and make watching TV annoying.
So, no additional connections just plug the Stick directly into the HDMI port of your TV.
