Roku Stick...very impressive.

I've had my Roku Streaming Stick for about a month now and have to say that it has definitely made my cord-cutting life much easier. After canceling my cable TV, I picked up NetFlix and HuluPlus (via Chromecast), but with the Roku stick, I was able to not only add on more channels, but have it all in a much easier to use way, thanks to the remote that comes with the Roku stick (and which the Chromecast does NOT have). The only thing I would add is that anyone getting the Roku stick should make sure to NOT power it from a USB port on your TV...the charging is way too weak and it takes much too long to come back on if/when you turn your TV off. Much better to plug the Roku stick into the wall; the charging is much stronger and you don't lose settings, etc. when the TV is turned off. All in all, I'd say the Roku stick is essential if you want to start embracing the streaming life.

I bought this recently. Very happy with it when it works. I had some trouble setting it up at first. It wanted to do software updates which didn't want to download. Sometimes it freezes up. Do recommend it however because of the range of shows it offers.

We cut the cable cord about 3 months ago, and thought we would give this Roku stick a try. Our main interest was Netflix, but after browsing the channels offered by the Roku, we found a lot of other channels we enjoy as well. None of us miss cable now that we have Roku. Super easy set up and use.

Waste of money

Product barely works. Loses connection and takes for ever to reconnect. Wouldn't recommend this.
