Getting better

I really like this product, and there are a few things I hope Roku improves on. 1. Speed; still delayed when loaded media. 2. Quality channels, sports are big, and besides MLB, live streaming NFL and NBA would be great. 3.) There are plenty of local channels from other states, but nothing for Los Angeles, KNBC, KTLA, KCBS and KCAL9 would be fantastic.

compact and wireless

I bought this so that I could get rid of all the wires around my tv and it did the trick. I was a little worried when it said it may need to be charged up depending on the tv since my tv was an inexpensive one. However it's been plugged in for over 6 months with continual use and going strong. The only problem I ran into was that it was a bit tight based on where it plugged in and the way my tv fit into my wall mount.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I also own a couple of Roko 3's, they do a much better job and have better picture quality. I strongly recommend paying the extra amount and getting the Roku 3.

Loving my stick!

Last year I cancelled my cable and now watch everything via Roku. I was having trouble with my old Roku and read good reviews of the new stick. The reviews said it was better than the Chrome, and since I was set up on Roku anyway it was worth the extra money to buy another Roku. I'm glad I did, the new version is easy to use, with a cool "brief rewind" button and pre-set buttons for Netflix and Amazon. (I wish these pre-set buttons were customizable because who needs Blockbuster? And where is Hulu?) The stick also takes up less space on the shelf than the old Roku. I am not a computer genius but I found this easy to install.

Once you establish an account, and sign into services like Netflix or Amazon Prime, it's very easy to access your favorites. Very easy to use and connected quickly to our 7-year old tv. Once the New England snows fall, I'm going to take online courses through Roku given by top university professors. We already downloaded a tv series from Amazon that was no longer available anywhere else. Gives us real choices.
