Purchased the device thinking that I could watch all my TV programs. Disappointed to find that everything needed some sort of paid subscription.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought Roku so I would be able to 'cut the cord'. The content was not what I expected but I is still good. I work the late shift so I don't get to watch a lot of TV. Roku is perfect for allowing me to watch on my schedule.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The stick is a lot easier to set up than the hockey puck style. I have 2 of those. Good simple product.

The Roku stick is very easy to install, and once installed be prepared for lots of channels easily accessed. Very satisfied with this product! I have a Roku installed on three HDTVs and plan to give it as a gift this Christmas.
