Streaming Power in a little package

Had the stick for a little over a month. Got it for an extra TV in the house. Since it will receive dual band signals I can run both my ROKU 1 and ROKU Stick at the same time on two different channels. Very nice! It didn't take long to decide to switch the stick to the primary TV and put the ROKU 1 on the spare. The GUI is a little cleaner and the installation is practically invisible. Same solid ROKU performance as the ROKU 1. I really like the RF remote but it does use more battery power so Lithium cells are a really good idea. Definitely worth buying.

Simple to use

Occasionally, the screen is blank when initiating a channel. Have to unplug streaming stick from HDMI port and then reinsert to get picture.

Soooo easy to setup. Great channels and features. Streams flawlessly, receiving signal from Wi-Fi router on the other side of the house. Go Roku!!

About the streaming stick only

I had to use the ac power because it was performing poorly. I don't know if it has to do with my TV but once I started using the ac power it did a lot better. If they want to use the stick without the power I would not recommend but if they use the ac power than yes the Roku works for me. You have the option of ac or just the stick. Roku also has one with a small box that works better than the streaming stick. That's my opinion.

Easy to set up and use. However, be aware that this ROKU gets hot and eats batteries, so be sure to remove your batteries when not in use.
