Better than watching on a laptop!

I watch shows on netflix and amazon prime, and was using my laptop. That is fine when you travel, but at home, I would much prefer to watch a show on my big flat screen TV. The Roku is the perfect solution.

Works but very slow

I bought this for my portable garage and back deck TV it works simple design plug into a HDMI port on your TV, plug in the power brick set up WiFi and go .
But here is the main con start it up about 10 minutes before you plan on using it as it takes that long for the stick to boot up and warm up to use .I did not expect it to be as fast as the Roku 2 and 3 I have but not this slow either .

This little device is sooo easy to use and was extremely simple to set up. I have been very pleased with my purchase. I am seriously considering discontinuing my cable service because of my Roku. It has all that I need for TV viewing.

Well made and easy to use and install. Wish the selection of "stations" was easier to understand. A newsletter would be really great.

Love stick option

Rocky is Awesome. Mainly got it for WWE Network but live all the other channels. Can't speak for the box feature Roku but I'd assume it works the same. Just wanted something small and would do the trick. Great item.

Randomly shuts off

I have had the streaming stick for less than 6 months and for about a month now it has been randomly shutting off and restarting. I can't watch a full episode on Netflix without it shutting off. I have replaced the batteries multiple times. There is not an on/off button either. Other than that it is a neat device.

I love the size of this and the ability to stream youtube videos from an iphone or ipad. I love that you cannot see the stick but it works perfectly with the remote. Finally I love the price! This is the best streaming device out there in my opinion.
