Easy to use, takes up no space

I like the HDMI feature, it does not take up any tabletop space! The remote is convenient and easy to use.

Lots of free shows!

There are lots of free shows and you can add more at a low cost. It's a better value than satellite or cable if you're on a budget. The only downside is when it's football season and you want to watch a game that is only on a network. You get what you pay for as they say.

Was tired of cable rate increases and all the commercials. Good investment but has some bugs. Had to reset Roku a couple of times in the 3 months I've had it. reset involves going thru entire set-up procedures each time, which is a hassle. I have a wireless modem and the code is quite long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This device is the best thing since original VHS players back in the early 80s. It was so easy to install and does not require space like most other add-ons. I use it every day for Amazon Prime, Acorn online TV, etc. I LOVE it!!!

Great once it's running

Purchased item and attempted installation. Got numerous error messages including inability to acquire wireless router. Sat it aside for a month. Reinstalled after relocating router and device acquired. Dropped off in error twice while adding channels and updating software. Once up and running its been operational with no issues. I attribute most of the initial problems to the proximity of the device to the wireless router.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I originally went shopping for a smart Blueray DVD but saw the Roku streaming stick and it was cheaper. I liked the idea of being able to easily move it from one TV to another so I bought it. I've watched my satellite ONCE since. I subscribe to Netflix and my son has watched some of the free selections (A&E and History Channel). The only change I would make is to have the selected service screen go to screensaver. It will only go to screensaver from the main menu.

Bought the Roku Streaming Stick a few weeks back, pretty awesome! I have nothing negative to say about it other than it is a little slow at times but if that is not expected from something the size of a flash drive then I guess this isn't for you. However, it is super convenient, easy to use, and it can be powered through the USB on your TV if you have one so there won't be any wires hanging. I highly recommend this product! Half the price of its competitors and it does just about everything they do.
