Excellent functionality

I also have a Chromecast but we got this because it also is compatible with Showtime. Anyway, it turns out to be even more functional. Love it. The one thing I'd like would be if you could type titles in- maybe there's an ipad app I don't know about, though.

I love having the roku V tucked behind the TV. It pulls power from a USB port on the TV, too, so it doesn't even need to be plugged to the wall. The RF remote works great : better the regular, actually, because it doesn't have to be pointed at the receiver. The only downside is it takes a solid minute to start up, then at least a minute to open Netflix. It's not a huge problem, but the load times are noticeable compared to regular roku.

Smaller!

I got the new Roku streaming stick to replace my Roku3. It works the same as the Roku 3 with the same features and the added benefit of a smaller device. However, the remote contorl reception is not great, since the stick is hidden behind the tv the remote control does not respond as well due to blocked access to the streaming stick. I would recommend to have one of these for travel instead of everyday use.

Need More Work

I like the Idea of the stick you need some good competition in the market place but I have to continually reboot and reset because it freezes up about every 3rd or 4th use. If I had a choice I would go back to the standard box. My broadband is at 40GB/seconds so not sure it's because of Internet speed. Right now I could not recommend this to a friend until I see some improvement in my stick

Was concerned that a wireless Roku would not deliver the performance of a wired Roku but the wireless device has worked as advertised.

We got our ROKU about a month ago and have used it every day and have enjoyed it. Great set-up, easy to use and good selections to choose from. Very pleased with the Stick.
