My only dislike on this device is that it is slow to become operational after power on. It is powered by a USB port on my TV and takes far to long to wake up. Even if the TV has been on using another port this device is still slow to get to where I can start choosing things to view.
I bought this device six months ago along with a digital antenna. I cut the satellite/cable cord and never looked back. It is awesome. I have everything I want right at my fingertips. Anything I can watch on the internet, I can now watch on my tv-Netflix, hulu, parables, abc, youtube. No. Regrets. I definitely recommend this device. For a one-time cost that's less than the cost of one month of cable/satellite, you are set.
I bought this a while ago, maybe 4-6 months back. While it is OK, I can't get it to change from Roku to Netflix very easily and never on the first try. Once it is into the Netflix site, it works fine. In fact, I do like it. The Streaming Stick works great. We have it plugged into the USB on the TV. (both ends of it.)
I bought this a month ago, already owning a ROKU 3. This little device is an amazing companion for traveling and just being portable. Im usually out of town 2 weekends a month and I hated being stuck with basic cable on tv. I bought this so i can stream Netflix, HBOGO, WatchESPN, etc. and be able to have more to watch when I traveled than basic cable. I bought a 10 dollar camera case bag and use it to transport the Roku stick. What makes this an even better purchase than chromecast is that you get a fully functional remote, the full Roku OS so its a lot better & more functional than the chromecast.
