Easy to set up & I've really not had any trouble except I didn't know it had to be charged first. My roommate has a roku 2 downstairs & I always have to reset it & the Netflix on hers always seems to give me problems!! Again no problem with the stick up in my bedroom.
I have had nothing but trouble. My niece has one and brags on it all the time so I bought one and it keeps getting stuck. I do not think the remote works, I have changed the batteries several times. I have also reset it twice and it still does not work.
In general I like roku and have all models. Noticed that the stick is a bit slow and especially YouTube app takes forever to navigate through. Why not let the user modify the quick buttons on the remote (Netflix, rdio etc)?
I tried to set up the stick in my master bedroom. Terrible internet connectivity. So I compared Netflix on my Asus tablet (w/ Android OS) and it ran great. I tried to set up the stick in the living room where the TV sits right under the wifi router, still horrible internet connectivity. The stick is now sitting on a shelf and I cam not able to use it...
Ease of use, not good. Prefer the Amazon Fire Stick, always easy to use. Will offer similar selections of movies you may have just screened. No need to search. Not many good selections without cost. Documentaries are pretty good on Roku.
