We live out in the country and unable to get cable so the only option we have is satellite. I didn't know Roku was even out there until I went to Fred Meyers. I was going to buy DVD player the would allow us to get Netflix via WiFi. We already have a DVD player and talking to the young man he suggested Roku. Took it home, hooked it up and now we have NetFlix plus others. It was easy and we love it. I recommend it. No monthly charge either.

I reviewed this product yesterday. After that review, I found the chat help button. The support tech walked me through a solution to the Netflix problem. Tech support was good and helpful. I'm still not convinced however, because I did this same procedure, or one nearly like it earlier and thought I'd solved the problem for good. Then the problem resurfaced. The solution is time consuming and fussy because of the clunky means of entering email and password info.
Chat tech support also provided a possible solution for the antenna interference. I have not attempted that yet, because it involves my router. But it is, at least, a possible solution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The new tiny roku stick is awesome. It fits perfectly on my tv, and can easily switched to another. It seems to work as well as my older style roku box. There is so much avaiable to stream, it makes sense to have at least one. I had a little issue setting it up, but a quick call to tech support and problem solved. I have even given them as a gift.

Love it, watch what I want, when I want. I have total control of the cost. I can watch free show or purchase shows.

am not always able to get to the menu page

Sometimes I turn everything on and the television screen wont go past the blank screen with ROKU on it, never gets to the menu screen. Very frustrating. I do like it when it works.

Decent options

No difficulties with set up or streaming. Access to several free and pay channels. Unfortunately, if you are a Comcast subscriber, you can't access HBO Go, and that is a big disappointment for me.

I jav a roku 2, needed another one so I got the stick. Love um both. Keep the stick in the kids room. Not having to go and get a movie then return it, has saved me not only my time but money. Love the stick. We travel a lot. So easy to take with us on our trips.
