Very small, good remote control.

Bought this item a few months ago to replace an Apple TV unit. The Roku provides access to vastly more content than Apple TV. I bought the streaming stick based mainly on it small size and low price. I already had a Roku 2 unit at another location and was happy with it. The streaming stick seems a bit slower than the Roku 2 when working through menus, but the video streaming is just as good. The stick is nicely out of the way plugged into a USB port at the back of the TV, but it does need to be connected to a power supply so you will have one small wire to conceal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have four Roku devices. Our Roku 2s have streaming issues. Our Roku 3 works great. Our Roku Stick works as well as our Roku 3 - no issue there. None of the advertising showed that it actually has to be plugged in to wall power. Depending on the design of your TV's HDMI port, it can be a challenge to plug in your Roku Stick.

Got this 1 month ago it is my 3rd Roku product & 2nd Roku stick. My son & his family live with me & they have the living room where they watch TV & I have the family room so decided to get me my own Roku stick. Love it cause I can watch Orange is the New Black whenever I want now & other shows or movies as I subscribe to Netflix.

ugh! really disappointed.

We have been trying to use this streaming stick for just over a month now. Over half the time it wont let us on Netflix or Amazon Prime. The little bit it does let us on one of them it spends so much time reloading during a show or movie you forget what parts you just watched. Also It does not let you mirror whats on an ipad onto the TV. If that had been stated i would have gone with something else. I really wish my 2 year old had not gotten to the box so we could have returned it after the first week of trying!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my streaming stick 2 weeks. Remote stopped working after 1 week. Constantly have to remove batteries, wait a few minutees, and put them back in and maybe it'll work.
Wish there were more channels that people actually watch.
Overall not a bad product if your control works.

I bought this stick a few months ago. I also have one of the boxes on our other TV. I plan on buying another stick to replace the box. I love the stick so much better. It was easy to setup. It was time consuming because of setting up all the channels I was a member of. I like the format much better than that on the box.

No More Shifting the Box!

I have used Roku since it appeared on the market, I have the XS version. Recently purchased the Roku Stick, it rocks. Plugging into the HDMI cable means I no longer have to shift the box in order to get continuous reception, the streaming is steady and I have had no problems. Installation is E A S Y.

If you want streaming video you can't go wrong with Roku "Streaming-Stick". Device works! Programming availability is more than you can watch! If cable companies were not ISP's they would go out of business.
