Great Picture Quality and Ease of Use

It's really 4 and a half stars. Overall it's great. Occasionally it will freeze up (but not while watching something) which is fixed easily enough by unplugging it for a minute before restarting it.
But that's my only (relatively minor complaint). The picture quality is great. Adding channels is easy. The search feature finds what you want across all channels. I've not had any buffering issues, so all the movies/tv shows are easy to watch. Overall, a great value and a great buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We purchased it in hopes of getting rid of cable but soon found out we cannot watch our TV shows on CBS, NBC, and ABC using just this device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my ROKU for 3 months now and I have completely gotten rid of my cable service...No need. The money I spent on cable I use for my ROKU and still have money left over. I love my ROKU

Fast once it gets going

Love the streaming abilities of this little device. Only issue I have is when you have the power plugged in through a USB on the TV, it takes about 3-4 minutes to start working after you turn the TV on. Should not be an issue when plugged into direct power all the time though.

Neat Gadget and Easy to Use

I'm not the most tech savy individual, but this was about as simple as it gets to set up! Bought it to use with a Slingbox so my patio TV could be wireless but the built in features are great! Really do not need a slingbox unless you want access to local channels! Great product!
