Wonderful device!

I loved my first Roku, purchased about 3 years ago, but the Roku Streaming Stick is better. Super simple to set up and use and the performance and video quality is excellent! I like the fact that it receives power from the USB port on my TV and the remote control is simple to use. The amount of quality free content is amazing, making this an excellent choice for anyone ditching cable TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my Roku because I dont have cable. I love it! I constantly watch Netflix and Hulu. Plus they have other great apps I like to watch. Although, I do wish they had more specific channel apps that I can get on my other devices.

Honest opinion about my contentment and otherwise

The Roku stick is very slow compared the Roku 3 which I also own. After being being spoiled by the speed of the Roku 3, the Stick just isn't as appealing. Although the best feature of the Stick is the small size. It would be most ideal if Smart TV all ready had a Roku system integrated within all ready. Streaming Roku is a lot more efficient and economical compared to tradtional cable or satellite TV (this is the main reason I own ROKUs). Overall, I'm content with Roku, but would like to see more network channels like NBC and CBS offer full length show on their Roku apps.

Easy to set up and use!

We have used the Streaming Stick for a number of months and it performs well. Once or twice we have had to power off/on the device to reboot, not sure if this was a Roku issue or Comcast issue. The remote makes it so easy to operate.

I bought a Roku 3 before I purchased the Roku stick. The remote for both devices do not work, no matter how many times I paired the remotes. I downloaded the ipad app so that these devices could be used. However it would be more convienent to use the hand held remotes. The Roku TV wouldn't be for me as I am a bit tech savvy as I have surround sound included with my current TV set up. The content of the Roku is fantastic, I haven't found another device which has all the great apps...youtube would be a great addition.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
