I have had the Roku Streaming Stick for almost 2 months. It was easy to set up and there is a great variety of programming available. I use it to watch my church service both live and by replay.
We have two in the house. Much quicker than streaming through our smart TV or DVD. More choices too. Only concern is the stick seems to get awful warm to hot when in use. But otherwise not issue with performance. Love it. See no reason to continue with cable tv service
When I bought this, my older first series Roku (which still works by the way) stopped working on the HDMI setttings (glitch) and doesn't get as many of the newer channels. -- (I still have the Roku 1 in use via composite connection in a different room for limited viewing)
HOWEVER this Roku Streaming stick is simply fantastic. Especially with the USB feature, I don't even have to plug it into the wall. Less Wires showing, Fantastic speed, all the new channels, and the "continuous play" feature when I'm watching a series is great to avoid interruption.
If I could ask for anything else , would be if the remote had a couple extra buttons to get basic Volume and TV power on/off (programmable) added.
I can't sing the praises of this enough. If I could get one for each TV in the house I would.
I knew it was something special when the box was as fancy as unwrapping an apple product. I really only use it for Crunchyroll and Netflix, and I've never had a problem, plus it's portable. (I bring it to friend's houses all the time) Overall, one of the best purchases I've ever made.
This is my second Roku product. The first Roku I was not happy with the performance but the stick seems to be much improved. My only negative is the connection to my TV outlet. The HDMI space doesn"t allow for the length.
So far the Roku has been a great investment. I variation of things to watch but wish some of the channels had some newer movies that are free but definitely a better deal than dish or direct tv as you do not have all the stuff to filter through that you do not watch.
