Convenient & easy setup but delicate HDMI terminal

I thought the new Roku Streaming Stick was a neat device that didn't require the special kind of HDMI input of the 1st edition, and since the price was pretty affordable, I ordered it right away. Connection was pretty simple when I tried it on both of my Sony Bravia TVs, one 52" high-end model from 5 years ago, and one 34" basic model I bought 3.5 years ago (both a little old, hence non "smart" models). Both models had a USB terminal in the back side, and it feeds the juice for the Roku Stick to function properly, so I didn't need the included AC-to-USB power supply. As Roku evidently acknowledges, the OS in their Streaming Stick is quite slow, but to be fair, it's mostly a matter of load-up time, not really the navigation itself once the interface is there. Settings are pretty straight forward, but I missed not having a system-wide Kid's rating and Parents' lock system that would detect program and movie ratings and adjust accordingly (Netflix has their own "Kids" setting, but there's no such flexibility for other video options my girls love, like VEVO music videos and YOU TUBE on the Streaming Stick itself, which makes me a bit worried) During the month I've had it, it has only frozen up once , requiring a reset. That in my case isn't an issue since I left it on the back of the 52" TV which is in the living room on a table, very reachable. I don't think I'd be too happy reaching out for the tiny Reset button since it's quite disguised, if my TV was hanging from a wall. That would probably mean a lamp + small mirror kind of effort, so others with that kind of TV mounting scheme might want to stick the Stick on lateral HDMI inputs some TVs have, but frankly speaking, that would defeat the purpose and ruin the look of your flat TV. A couple complains I have are: 1. The male HDMI connector itself seems quite weak, and mine did brake off its regular position and wiggles but since it continues to work (thus far), I didn't send it back. 2. The supplied Micro USB cable terminal could be shorter or even be one of the "L-shaped" side connectors, to save as much space behind the TV as possible, since many TVs have their HDMI inputs at the bottom right on their back side, and when mounted on a wall, TVs typically lean down at certain angles to improve visibility (night time TV on bed anybody?), leaving little space between the TV and the wall or wall support.
I have 2 Roku that that I use, primarily because they can pick up WIFI a little further than my smart TV (I have a big house), Lately bioth units work poorly when i choose Netfkix, often won't load at all. Netflix loads fine when on my Notebook.
We got rid of cable TV last year, and the Roku has made that much easier than expected. It's easy to install and set up. The only issues I had were with the smartphone app - I couldn't get that to work. But the remote control works well, so it hasn't been an issue.
I have the ROKU 3 and love it, so I thought I would try the ROKU stick and I love it also. Great features for the price. I have recommended this to a lot of friends. I have this on my tv in the Man Cave and it works great.
