Better than I thought!!!!

I bought this about a month ago and I couldn't be happier. I bought it just for HBO Go, but I use it for many other channels as well. Easy to use and the picture quality is magnificent!!!

So I have been using the streaming stick for over a month now and I absolutely love it. I already had Hulu and my roommate has Netflix so it worked out beautifully. Seriously my cable bill was out of control so this little thing has been my world. I have HBO2Go from my boyfriend its great for the most part all the shows I watch are there and up to date I just wish some of the shows were all seasons but that doesn't affect my thoughts on the Roku best choice I have made in a long time and a money saver.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall the Roku streaming stick is just mediocre. Its pretty slow when booting up, which is kind of annoying. I use it to watch TV shows on Netflix and it lags when I try to rewind or fast forward to a certain part of an episode. Also, a few different times, it has failed to save the spot where I left off in an episode. So when I turn it on the next time, it wants to start the episode over.
On a positive note, I don't have any problems with streaming. Also it has an attractive interface that is easy to use. Just wish it was faster navigating through the menus. At this point, I would probably recommend Google chrome cast if you want a streaming stick, or the Roku 3 box, because they are both faster.

I bought my Roku a few months ago and i love it. This is saving me a lot of money each month and i am seeing way more movies and tv shows! Al i can say is ....WOW!!!

I had it for several months and like it. It gets hot often and I don't know if that damages it. It's a bit slow at times, I don't believe I get updated show all the time.

Poor wifi connectivity, slow performance

The roku stick kept dropping the wifi connection. We could not get through a single show without dropping the connection. Unacceptable. (The relatively ancient Wii sitting right next to the tv could handle streaming just fine. ) Loading time for service applications was annoyingly slow. The thing is just underpowered. I returned the stick and bought a Roku 3 instead, which works great
