got this recently, and mostly watch NetFlix and Amazon. Works as promised, and I get the content I need. Even my 5 year old Granddaughter says, " wow, I can see all the best cartoons!!!!"

Great way to access movie and TV shows

We have been using the Roku Stick for about a month and at first my wife was very skeptical. Now she uses it almost everyday to watch programs on Lifetime and through our Amazon Instant Video account. We also use it to access our Netflix account. It is very smooth and we've had no problems. This was a great buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

excellent features

We purchased the older version a couple of years ago and it was ok... Streaming was kinda slow. Now we have the streaming stick and my wife loves it!!! So now I get to watch all the sports I like without being interrupted no wing she's satisfied with the other television in the family room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had a Roku XD for some time and we are very pleased with its performance. We did purchase a Roku Streaming Stick but the remote has gone missing. We will be unable to rate it until we get a new remote control

Locks up frequently, have to reconfig each time.

This is our second Roku. I love the Roku service, but the HDMI stick is very buggy.
About once a week it will lock up forcing me to unplug the power to reset the stick. When it is reset I need to re-enter a new Roku link code, re-download my channels (which takes between 20 - 45 minutes), and re-enter all my password and account information for all my subscribed services. I've never had to reconfigure our Roku 2 once in the year or so I've had it. This stick has gone thru over a dozen resets since it's arrival on the products release date.
I honestly can not recommend the Roku stick but I would strongly recommend any of their 'box' products.

I am confused as how to shut off or end a program....sometimes when returning to my session, I get a blank screen of what I request with audio only. The only way to remedy the situation is shut down my tv and restart. It.......otherwise i/we love the device and have only begun to explore all the options available!

I've had the Roku Streaming Stick for about 5 months now and it's great. It was easy to set-up, even for somebody as technologically challenged as myself. I find it works just fine even with my standard Time Warner internet service. The Stick did lock up once on me when I was doing a lot of surfing looking for something to watch. Simply disconnecting a few moments, plugging back in and hasn't happened since. Well worth the price.
