The Roku stick is amazing! I can get so many different varities of shows all in one place. It's very easy to install. Just plug into HDMI port and that's it. The choices are endless! This was a good investment for me.

I bought this couple of months ago and I am very happy about it. One thing that s annoying a little bit is that sometimes remote control is not connecting with the stick and/or has delayed response. At times I wait up to a minute to start getting a response. Other than that it works good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compact and easy to instal.

I am very happy with this product. It is easy to install, and I have a ultra thin flat screen tv mounted to de wall and it all fit behind de TV with no cables comming out, its powered by a USB the TV has right next to the HDMI slot. Only critique is the remote can sometimes be a bit slow. But picture quality and look of the titles is amazing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Alternative to Cable

I bought this when I moved to my new home and it was an excellent choice. I use it with Amazon Prime and other new apps. I can watch what I want, when I want.

Good, but a bit buggy

I bought the Streaming Stick because there are far more options for programming than on my Apple TV. That being said, sadly I often end up reverting back to my Apple TV due to the simple fact the Roku crashes at least 3 - 4 times every single time I try and use it. Netflix seems to be the worst offender, but other Roku channels will completely crash the unit as well, leading to a wait of several minutes per crash to just get back to the channel menu. Half the time I am so annoyed I just switch over to the Apple TV because it actually works. The programming options far exceed those of Apple TV, but until the crashing every click of the remote is resolved, this will never be my primary streaming device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Roku stick is very handy and we enjoy using it. If it can do these two things already, I'm embarrassed, but it would be nice if it could control the volume of our tv and switch the HDMI channels.

Excellent Bargain with MANY possibilities

I already have a Roku 3 but wanted one for our Family Room TV so I couldn't resist purchasing the Roku Streaming Stick. The only difference that I notice between the R3 and the 'Stick" is that the Stick seems a little slower and of course the remote doesn't have an earphone option (but that is one of the reasons for the lower price!) I'll probably purchase another stick for my wife's Sewing Room TV!!

Finally, Netflix streaming into my TV without a hitch! I really like my Roku Streaming Stick. It's easy to use and not too expensive.
