Horrible

Purchased over a month ago and is a total waist of money. I wish I'd purchase the box instead. The stick cannot pick up wifi as easy as the roku box, plus it's poor design make it nearly impossible to plug in most flat screens. It cost too much to have so many flaws.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a roku hdmi stick an roku3 I am now able to stream to my tv from both. Also able to play movies from my wd my cloud which is connected to the Same network.. Great buy eihither product

Amazing form factor

I bought this unit to replace an older Roku model. Love the form factor. Freed up space on the dresser. Works great and the new interface and remote are all improvements.

Look before you buy

I bought 2 Roku streaming sticks. I could not use them on all of my TV's due to the way the HDMI port was located on my TV. The Roku Streaming Stick has to be plugged into electricity at all times too.

This item is so easy to "set up"! And the money I am saving by being able to access Netflix, Blockbuster etc... is great! I have a flat screen but apparently I don't have a smart TV but it is working fine so ROKU picked up the slack of my "dumb" TV!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointment galore.

Well, first thing. It either reboots or I have to force a reboot daily. Even though my cable company advertises on Roku channels, it's not shown as an option for channels that require cable support. I'd say the best thing about the stick is the Rogue game app and that's pretty sad. I cancelled my cable for this and while Netflix and Hulu Plus fill the gap, Content for TV shows is limited or mostly clips and not full episodes. I am a very disgruntled customer.
