I'm very disappointed with this product..as it has already quit working.. I have bought 4 other Roku streaming devices for myself and as gifts...aand this is the first time I have had a problem.
Bought a "Smart TV" but couldn't get several apps that I needed to see my movies on (TWC and Amazon Prime, etc). My son told me to get the Roku and I am glad I listened. Now I can watch TWC Upper Tier programs on my basic cable TV set as well as Amazon Prime movies.. Works perfectly!
When I bought the Roku 3 it came with the Streaming Stick and headphones. What a great feature this is. My wife is a light sleeper and goes to bed sometimes long before I do. With the stick and headphones, I can watch streaming all night if I want, I know you can do that with regular headphones but they get heavy and uncomfortable after a while. The headphones with the stick are light weight and you can be mobile also to go do whatever because they are wireless.
Works great , easy to set up and have had no problems. However I do have a couple suggestions - change the OK button back to the direction arrows. This is on my ROKU controller. Not sure I like the Netflix program page that appears....not as easy to find some of the episodes of things I watch. Much easier on the ROKU 2 display.
I've had my Roku stick for about 2 months and absolutely love it. It is easy to use and the variety of channels offered is excellent. I also like how simple it is to move it from one TV to another.
I bought the stick so you could not see it and it would remain out of sight. I was worried that the remote would not work because the stick was behind the TV. Discovered the remote works fantastic, no problems what so ever.
I bought the Roku stick several months ago. I already had a Chromecast, but wanted a way to watch Amazon Prime videos. It took me a long time to get the Roku to connect to my internet. I have to power off my router for 30 seconds, let it restart, then reset the Roku and set up the wireless connection. It will remain connected the rest of the evening, but by the next day I have to do the process all over again. I've searched many websites looking for answers. I've tried new settings on the Roku and router. Nothing has solved the problem. My Chromecast worked the first time, every time. I hate my Roku and almost never use it.
