At first I purchased the chrome cast which was very difficult to use I returned it an purchased the Roku and simple is not even the word for it.. great product great price and great quality
My only complaints are: I loose video about once an hour for 5-10 minutes, which I used to dread, but I turned on the English captions, and now I don't miss the story. The other thing that bothers me is that sometimes when watching a TV series, I am unable to either go to the next episode or the previous one.
Love this Roku. Everything plays, easy to setup. The only thing I wish we're better was not needing to have a power adapter, can it get it's power from the HDMI port (maybe not possible. I don't know). And if it had more memory so it could buffer an entire HD movie-not that I have buffering issues.
My family has enjoyed the Roku for the most part. A few draw backs are it tends to freeze up and has to be reset. Also, I was unaware that I still needed a cable TV subscriber to watch some of the apps. Kind of defended the purpose of dropping cable tv.
I've had my Roku for about three months and have enjoyed it immensely. It is so easy to use that my 5yr old granddaughter uses it for her Netflix movies.
I bought it a month ago and have to keep taking it out to get it to work it won't even work with the remote tried my phone as a remote and it has problems with it that way also. I don't know if i just got a bad one or what but I am disappointed with it. My wifi is at the highest so it's not that. Hopping others will have better luck
