Something different! It's about time!

I was glad to have gotten a TV that was a Proscan and ROKU ready with the streaming stick, it was easy to set up and has a lot of different things you wouldn't find on TVand I like that you can get internet channels also!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful Little Device

I needed a streaming device for my upstairs TV and didn't want to spend to much. So I looked into a few devices and ended purchasing the Stick. The value and channel lineup is fantastic.

Great Product... Missing a few key features.

I bought my Roku in May 2014 and was excited to get started with it. I registered my account and started the preliminary things to hit the ground running once I installed it. Overall... I love my Roku. I didn't know that media streaming to my TV could be so awesome.
I didn't want to spend the money on replacing my TV with a Smart TV, so Roku was my fix. It works really well. Lots of channels apps and features to use. However, there a couple things that would make it better.
I would love to use my device to browse the web from my TV. There are no a mirroring options available either for browsing. I can sync certain apps to my ipad and use it to control the device, but I cannot mirror it nor browse directly on the device.
My final challenge is using the device outside of the USA. Several Apps don't work outside of the country, so that reduces the number of Apps I truly have access to. Most of the main Apps have a geographic restriction, but I don't think that's Roku's fault. I wish I could readily use more Apps
Overall... I love my Roku and have recommended it to everyone I know.

I purchased this for my boys bedroom. they are 4 and 6. They can control it themselves. We use it for netflix and hulu. It's way easier then using wii for streaming.

Asked for Roku for Christmas and loved it. When the streaming stick came out, I bought one right away for another TV. Love this one too! And, so easy to use.

Since using the Roku We seldom watch cable. It is so nice to view programs without commercial interruptions. Have dropped several of my cable channels which has paid for the roku the 1st month.
