I have had this a few months now and although I'm happy with the purchase, it appears every three weeks or so, it somehow does not recognize the settings and I have to unplug it from the TV and wall socket and sign in again. I also wished it offered home improvement shows like HGTV. Other than that, I like it.

I have enjoyed my Roku and have recommended them to my friends and family. The channel choices are nice and can enjoy programming that I do not have time to watch during work weeks. The Streaming Stick is convenient to install and use. My only concern is the amount of heat the Stick develops even when not in use.

Broke after 1 month

I have several Roku devices, and have "cut the cord" on cable TV. I bought the Roku stick for travel, but it broke after 1 month. It repeatedly reboots itself. Unfortunately by that time I no longer had the package or receipt and could not return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't want to pay exorbitant cable prices. Roku gives me the option of watching most anything I want, on my schedule! I definitely recommend Roku to anyone who is looking for diverse entertainment, at great savings!
