Junk TV content; even the crappiest channels have ads, making matters worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the Roku in order to get Netflix. It works great and what a pleasure to watch a show with no commercials. The Roku saved me the money of having to buy a smart TV in order to get Netflix.

I bought the Roku on my new HD television instead of a "smart " tv. I am glad I did. It is easy to use, and has tons of great free channels.

Bought thinking I could use on the go-such as a hotel-but apparently this uses a lot of internet - so it is blocked •• works fine in house

Thanks to this amazing stick I am not only able to watch my nimbleTV on the go in motels hotels and without the room stick I would be lost. All my staff now have them too

I love my Roku stick! It is small and goes where I go, to my daughters home and back to mine and all my favorites are set up and go with me! No problem, easy as pie and I am 61 and I have the app for the control set up on my phone in case I miss place it and I am forever set to go! Love, love, love it!
