Expands My College Sporting Event Viewing

Our oldest son's Christmas gift to me (his dad) and he knew that I wanted to watch ESPN-3 and it's expanded college football and basketball games. I love it!

We changed to a Roku from another streaming stick to gain access to a wider variety of content, and the Roku is perfect for our needs. It gives us access to the apps and shows we love, and the interface is good and easy to use.

Roku as Set Top Box for TWC

I bought the Roku stick so I didn't have to rent another set top box for Time Warner Cable. The Roku works fine the problem I have is what TWC saying you get all your subscribed channels via the Roku at your home location. This is not true and I have tried working with TWC and got nowhere. Missing are sport channels i.e. YES and MSG channels.

I purchased the Roku Stick and turned my TV into a smart TV. I recommend this to anyone that doesn't have a smart TV.

Who needs a smart TV if you have Roku

I purchased a roku stick for a 1080 tv I purchased for the bedroom, the tv wasn't a smart tv and I wanted to be able to watch Netflix. I have cable in the bedroom but I have no plans to upgrade to HD, its like a $15 a month surcharge. Well, turns out I can get my all cable channels (Charter Spectrum) through the Roku stick so I will be returning the cable box I have and save about $5.00 a month.
