I purchased the Roku Streaming Stick about a month ago and I am overall happy with it. I mostly use it to watch the WWE Network and it normally runs pretty smoothly. It's very easy to use, easy to set up, and is very convenient as it's easily transportable and doesn't take up a lot of space. The only drawback is it doesn't pick up my Wifi signal if the router is too far away, whereas my laptop does if it's in the same spot. Other than that this is a good product worth buying. It's not too expensive either for the value you're getting.
We have been extremely happy with our Roku. We love British TV and we have enjoyed the programs on Acorn TV so much. It's also very nice to get Netflix and Amazon from the same source.
We are empty nesters so my wife wanted to turn one of our now empty bedrooms into a workout room. There is no cable receptacle in this particular bedroom so we opted to purchase a smaller TV set and add the Stick to access our cable provider's channel lineup while she exercises. Works like a charm and she couldn't be happier! We own two Roku 3s too. Syncing all of previously chosen apps and services is so simple given how Roku handles matters. Roku is household word in our residence.
