I was pleasantly surprised how well the streaming stick worked. The picture quality is great. I'll be needing another for my other TV very soon.

ROKU Just ROCKS!

Ease of setup, works flawlessly, and very fun to boot! It is a super affordable way to augment your current television and video entertainment sources like satalite, cable or BluRay. Many times if you can't get your favorite show in HD on let's say satalite, you can on ROKU. I have friends who have completely diched the dish and just have the ROKU!

I purchased Roku thinking, ahh this may not work, I love it, love it!
My t.v. is on the wall and completely cordless, cables hidden between the walls, my only complaint would be for Roku to make the cord a little longer so that it can be placed through the wall and hidden away. other than that I love it, love it..
my favorites, Netflix!

I was originally in the market for a different streaming device, but after reading other reviews I decided to go with ROKU. I could not be happier with it. It works perfectly, was easy to install and use, and has opened up a vast resource of viewing options. This is just what I didn't realize I needed, and I am very happy I found it.

Roku will not stream from iPad

I installed Roku to watch GaitherTV, and it works great for streaming TV channels that are not available through your cable service. However, you are also supposed to be able to stream video from your iPad or iPhone directly to my smart TV. This Roku device is impossible to set up for this service! Bottom line: it works great for streaming a TV channel, but don't buy it if you intend to play movies from an iPhone or iPad via your TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this small device. It plugs right into the usb for power and takes up very little space. The only thing I don't like about this unit is that it takes a while to turn on.
