I bought the stick 6 months ago, freezes all the time have to reboot it all the time. called to get a new one, they just kept making me reboot the stick. Finally gave up and bought the regular Roku which works fine. Customer service was terrible, I ask to get a new one thinking my stick was defective but never could get them to send me one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Somewhat disappointed...

We purchased this roku about a month ago. We have 2 rokus, this is our first roku stick. The roku never goes to the screen saver and often it just stops playing while watching nexflix. We have to unplug from the tv at night because it is so hot and we can't even make it thru a show with it stopping. The roku never shuts down when the tv is off either. I love the design and and size, the options to choose which Netflix user and the remote is nicer then our other models.
I would recommend this to a friend!
