I bought this a month ago and I was impressed! It does everything it's supposed to do. I've had no problems! So many great features! I would recommend to anyone!

my brother told me about roku & I bought one, then a friend told I could get one for each of my TV's - so I did! I love my Roku's!

Will not work on Hot Spots Like Hotels

Purchased this to be able to use when we go on vacation. However if you go anywhere on vacation that offers free internet where you have to go to lets say ATT hot spot and have to click on a web page that says connect.Well there is no way to go to any web page through the Roku . Roku needs a work around to this type of connection. Out of the 2 times we have tried to use this while out of town and be unable to use it. Thus we have never used this STICK.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall good product

This does exactly what I wanted it for, which is to stream Netflix. Connection is usually pretty good, but the remote response seems delayed at times. I was surprised that the stick has to be plugged in to a power outlet. Also just discovered that if you unplug your Roku Streaming Stick from the power outlet you have to redo your settings... but overall it works well and I am happy with it.

In the month I've had my roku stick it's frozen once. Other than that, I haven't had any problems!

I bought my first roku, the roku 2, for our living room. Loved it! Easy to set up and use. After getting used to not having cable, we then bought the roku streaming stick for the bedroom. We subscribe to hulu and netflix and there is always plenty to watch

Awesome features, easy set up, easy to use. Was using a Sony blueray to stream netflix and vudu, but other selections where quite limited. Roku has a great selections and is making me consider dropping my cable provider.
