I have two in my house. They worked good until about a week ago, when they started dropping out and unable to reconnect. I am not sure what has happened. I have tried everything that Roku online has suggested. I am currently looking at my router. At the moment I have given up watching Roku (Netflix) on my TV's. It still works on my computer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really like my Roku lt & 3. Brag about Roku to others but the stick freezes regularly , have to rest and remote doesn't always work. Sorely disappointed.

While it is nice to be free from time Warner cable, Roku just doesn't have much content to offer. Most "channels" with anything to watch charge subscriptions and the rest is pretty pathetic. It's just not there yet.

Equipment of excellent quality, size and well fast what could have is a usb adapter to connect a network input.

Great form factor but poor performance

Bought the stick, had 2 XS. Regardless of system reboots, factory resets, etc. it will lose audio sync on Netflix if the Roku falls asleep. Tried different HDMI ports, different power sources (wall and USB), and still the same thing. Bandwidth not an issue (30mpbs down and 5 mbps up) also proven as 2 XS works fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to setup and use

Easy to setup and use. One thing I don't like is veryrtain apps like CBS doesn't let you see full episodes of their shows like bold and beautiful and y&r so I still have to use my kindle fire to watch them.
