I bought one of these for all of my TVs they plug in their out-of-the-wayRoku is also now I'm not having the big wooden box and everything else makes it even better keep up the good work

I recently bought Roku Streaming Stick to use at my mountain home in North Carolina. After a long learning curve I was able to connect my TV, roku and iphone and depending on the internet connection it worked great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I chose this model based mostly on the size and portability. It streams flawlessly with my WiFi and I can pop it in and out of any tv in my home. Has all the features of the box style streamers. The remote is surprisingly responsive... Which was a concern since it plugs in behind the tv. But it does very well. So far so good. I have recommended it to friends. The only complaint I guess I had was that you have to create an account with roku before using the other services. Seems like an unnecessary step...

Can't really write a honest review, I do too much DVR-ing for that. What I can say is that slowly but ever so surely I believe we'll severing our ties to cable.

Product works well, easy to setup, and it hides behind the tv in the hdmi slot so its nice it does not add more clutter around the tv.

Easy access!

We purchased this about a month ago. Transferrable from TV to TV! Super easy with lots and lots of channels. Who needs cable anymore with Roku Plus!

Lots of content, sluggish at times

The device is roughly the same size as Chromecast but offers substantially more content options that Chromecast. We needed something to keep us occupied in our son's nursery while feeding him during the day. Initially I thought I'd run the USB power cable right to the USB port on the TV, which worked but the port became unpowered when the TV was turned off so you'd have to wait for the device to boot back up every time. Not a design flaw of the device, just wish the TV maintained USB power at all times. Obviously squeezing all the components of a Roku box into a tiny package like this required some sacrifices, those are apparent while browsing content and waiting for the buffer to fill. At times you'll press a button on the remote and wait several seconds before the player acknowledges that you've done anything. Since this isn't our main Roku we've learned to be patient but I can imagine some people becoming frustrated.
