The Roku Streaming Stick is great. It has all the content i would need and while being a little slow I dont expect anything more.

The main reason I purchased this was because I was looking for an alternative to having cable. I was not aware that in order to have access to many of the channels available you must provide information covering who your cable provider is otherwise you can not watch the channel. FYI Comcast is not on the list for providers because they do not authorize the use of the channels on the Roku. Returned it just because it completely defeated the purpose of buying it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does a good job if you are close to the modem, it would not connect from two rooms away.

Roku wasn't what I thought

I bought my roku about 2 months ago . Connecting to wifi is slow and I have good internet. Roku tends to take up to 7-9 minutes to start up and will restart on it's own at times. My remote doesn't connect to my roku nor will my phone always says "roku device error" and my tv is already on ! My roku remote stopped working about 2 weeks ago and will only work if I take the batteries in and out . I've changed the battery serveral times and still no luck . The green light stays on, on the remote so I don't understand why it doesn't work if it shows it's oviously on......... After watching a movie or two on Netflix my roku slows down a lot and will not let me watch anything after .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great option for small spaces

This is my first Roku and I really am enjoying it. I am mostly in a bedroom so that is why I selected the HDMI stick. Install was very easy. Roku support is excellent!

I like roku when I use my phone to change channels especially on YouTube. The other channels have to many interruptions. The commercials throw off the flow of watching a movie. Unless they make the remote easier to text in subjects. Its fair not good but OK usage so far.
