Tired of watching four minutes worth of commecials

I can no longer watch TV via major networks...Recently I recorded a three hour movie on TV and discovered forty eight minutes of those three hours were commercials...Never again...Thanks Roku for helping me fight "Commercial Madness."

Great for travel

I was going to West Yellowstone, MT on a fishing trip and my wife who does not fish was coming along. The TV choices in that part of the country are very limited so I purchased a Roku Stick. It was easy to setup and performed very well when the WiFi signal at our hotel was sufficient. I plan to take the "Stick" along on all my travels.

The Roku streaming device is not only easy to install, it only takes a few minutes to completely set it up and it works great!

I bought it a couple months ago. Used it for two days. When using the ROKU somehow it cut my local antenna out and blocked my netflix. I was hoping for more news channels, and syndicated programing. My Antenna pickes up one local channel and three PBS channels and three religious channels. I have a Sony smart TV thinking I would be able to surf the web and so far I can't figure out anything but Youtube. So I thought ROKU would solve the problem. I think ROKU is great for 5 through 12 years olds. I'm not trying to bash it. It definitely creates entertainment for the couch potato. The higher priced products may be what I'm looking for. All I can say is it doesn't fill my needs. Maybe because I'm 67yrs old Past the stage of filling in the void with "entertainment". I need substance.

I was always hooking my computer to my television to watch Netflix. This is so much easier with the remote instead of a mouse.

Even though it's a different kind of format than conventional tv, you get used to it quickly. Our cable bill kept going up each year and was just too expensive. This has more than enough programming to keep you entertained each night.

Great way to watch what you love!

I bought this instead of a smart tv and love it! so many choices as for what to watch. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the remote does not work even with brand new batteries. Overall it is a great choice!

I purchased the Roku Streaming Stick to use on an extra TV I didn't have a satellite set up to. It works perfectly and I'm now wanting to get one for each tv. It makes viewing Netflix or Hulu a snap and I love I can easily watch my Vudu videos. With all of the other "channel" options I'm hooked.
