Great way to stream movies

This works great to stream movies. You need. Monthly subscription to get them. They keyboard needs improvement and it would be a big improvement if YouTube channel was included. We are very happy with our Srick!

This was our first Roku purchase and the stick just didn't work for us - we have a good, fast cable connection, but the stick version kept freezing up - we kept this for 1 day and upgraded to the Roku 3 and have had no problems since.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This thing stinks. It will not hold a stream. Constantly is buffering over and over. Get something with some processor speed. Total waste of money.

Well worth the cost

I already owned a Roku 3 and was very happy with it. I bought the Roku Stick for a TV in my office and only two things are a concern to me. It is a bit slower then the Roku 3, but I can live with that. The other concern is that when the TV is turned off and then back on later the Roku has to go through the whole start up procedure where the Roku 3 does not because it has its own power source.I think the remote for the Roku Stick should have the ability to plug in your headphone just as the Roku 3 remote does. I would have been willing to pay a few dollars more for that feature.

On the advice of trusted friends I bought a ROKU Streaming Stick. Happily, my friends were right. It does all I asked of it and more. Reality tells me there is always room for improvement. I cant wait to see what else ROKU will do in the future.
