I wish I had bought the Roku 3

I could never get this unit to connect to my home wireless system, but it would connect to my cell hotspot. It worked when connected, but I don't have unlimited data on my phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Saved money on not renting movies. No hassle returning movies. Easy to install. Lots of choice. Awesome!

Problem with remote

We love the idea of the roku. We love that it provides so many channels. Hook up was a snap. The remote, however, has never worked properly. We've done all the restarts suggested and it just does not work. We have downloaded the app on our mobiles and that's fine except they are difficult to use for my mom and young nieces (not tech savvy) to use. Thanks for the idea, roku. No thanks for the bad remote.

Amazing

I've had my roku for a few months and I love it. Super fast streaming of all my favs such as Hulu and Netflix. The sound and picture quality is ten times better than on a Wii console. After having the Roku for two weeks I canceled my satellite subscription.

Wide selection of choices

The usb plug in made set up easy. We already have accounts with amazon, hulu and netflix. Together with all the free channels that came with roku we find that we are not missing any of our programs.
