Easy to use

Enjoying my roku and happy that I don't have to plug my computer into the tv anymore to get Netflix.

Works sometimes

First day it stayed locked up most of the time. The next day it worked great as long as I used one app, when I tried to change to a different app it would lock up and not work, tried to go back to the last app and it would not work either. The rest of the day it would not work at all. Worked the next day fine. Some days it will stop showing a show and try to reload it, sometimes with success sometimes without success until the next day. Added an app that has a monthly fee, it is billed through Roku and will not let me change that without canceling my service. I have had no trouble with another brand HDMI stick that has a smile.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great way to watch tv

We got tired of high priced cable and started using Roku instead.We love it and keep finding new free and fun things to watch.

Great features, decent interface

I have been very pleased with the quality and speed of the Roku. The only frustration I have encountered is the inconsistent remote communication. Sometimes it seems to lose the connection with the player and needs to be rebooted or have the batteries taken out and put back in.

Roku Streaming stick - (HDMI Version)

I purchase the Roku Streaming stick two months ago. I had trouble with it linking to my internet, as it would not connect to the WiFi. Had the router moved in the next room. Streaming stick does work better, but sometimes it will freeze and restart. Did no realize that the stick would have problems connect to WiFi. Sometimes very difficult to watch a complete movie without the interruptions of rebooting or freezing. When the stick is working correctly, it is a pleasure to watch the internet channels without having cable connected.

I heard that I needed a "Big Ugly Box" but this little stick works just fine and has a USB for power from the TV.... no wall plug needed with TV's that are ready.
