Some apps are better than others

I bought my Roku stick a month or two ago and I have no problem watching Netflix with it but I do have a problem with NBC freezing up on me. I suppose that's the NBC app and not Roku. I LOVE that I can watch local news and weather. I have recommended Roku to several people because it's a great value for the money and I'm still able to watch everything I watched before I got rid of cable!

Have been telling EVERYONE about ROKU; amazed more do not know how simple this device is, and inexpensive to operate with WI-FI.

Gives me the option to watch shows on different TV

The only thing I wish the setup instructions would have included is a statement to plug the power USB plug into a 120v wall plug. I went for weeks with it not working because the USB port on the TV was not a power source and I did not know it.

It's a good alternative to regular TV programs. I like being able to watch at my leisure and to see program series that I may have missed plus documentaries and movies.
